How to Keep Your Body & Mind Together When Life Feels Chaotic

We all have seasons where life feels messy.
The routine you worked so hard to build suddenly falls apart.
Your motivation tanks.
You feel like you’re just trying to hold it together.
When life is like this, most people do one of two things:
Give up completely.
Push harder until they burn out.
There’s a better way.
Instead of chasing perfection, you anchor yourself with a few non-negotiables — habits so simple and repeatable that they keep you grounded no matter how much life changes.
Here are my 3 anchors for chaotic times:
Morning Rituals — Start your day with something grounding: hydration, movement, and mindful breathing before you look at your phone.
Non-Negotiable Meals — Have three go-to meals that work anywhere. I stick to a protein + veg + healthy fat formula that I can find in any country.
Mental Check-ins — A daily 5-minute pause to notice how you feel. Without this awareness, stress will derail your food, your training, and your mindset.
When life feels overwhelming, these anchors pull you back to centre.
You won’t do everything perfectly — and that’s okay. The goal is consistency, not perfection.
